Monthly Cleanup along 2 mile stretch of West Club Boulevard from Hillandale Road to Broad Street.  Typically there are 4 volunteers (sometimes 6 or more) who pick-up trash, cigarette butts, soda cans and even beer bottles and mini-alcohol bottles.  This effort takes about 6 – 10 person-hours, sometimes on rainy or very cold or very hot days.  Residents on that boulevard thank us when they are out walking.  We welcome men and women who would like to join our club and participate in this and other activities.

Assisted Durham Exchange Club Industry (DECI) with their annual Holiday Party for their Client Workers at the Durham Armory, on December 12, 2019.  It is an honor and a pleasure to serve the Client Workers and see them having a lot of fun. 

On December 7th, our Club distributed approximately 80 bottles of Bath Wash and Christmas Cards to each resident and gave Candy Dishes to Kitchen Staff and Reception Desk at Pettigrew Rehabilitation Center.  These items were donated by our Club Members.  We also Sponsored Bingo Games for the residents and gave $2 to each game winner. That was a hit with the residents!
